Peter Mongaya Hogsholm is a ​Danish born guitarist and is one of Tampa Bay’s most in-demand guitarists and educators.

During his career, Peter has studied privately with Charlie Banacos, Ed Byrne, Mike Stern, Joe Pass, John Stowell and Fareed Haque.

Peter studied Music at Jazz Academiet in Copenhagen as well as Players School of Music here in the U.S.

Recognized for his diversity, Peter has performed with Marcus Miller, Lalah Hathaway, Chick Corea, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Keiko Matsui, Dave Gruisin, Lee Ritenour, Selva Ganesh, Candy Dulfer, Jonathan Butler, Rick Derringer, Frank McComb, Dianne Warren, Joe Piscopo (SNL), gospel artist Tye Tribbett, BJ Putnam, and many others.

Currently, when Peter isn’t pickin’ and grinnin’ as a member of saxophonist Eric Darius touring band, Mindi Abair, and Wahh World Fusion Band, he also works as a session guitarist and performs throughout the Tampa Bay/South Florida area.

Peter brings over 25 years of private and group teaching and performance experience with him to Creative Keys and is excited to share his knowledge and wisdom with future students.
