PREFORMANCE IN THE PARK
We are excited to host an outdoor, Halloween-themed recital this Fall, with 2 dates to choose from! The “Spooktacular Performance in the Park” event will take place at the amphitheater at R.E. Olds Park in Oldsmar, featuring a large stage for performers and a huge lawn area in front of the stage.
Students may perform 1 or 2 pieces with a total performance time not to exceed 3 minutes (exception: vocalists may perform 1 piece without time limit). Recitals will start every 75 minutes throughout the afternoon, so please exit the lawn area at the end of the performances so that the next group can set up (each recital time will take approximately 45 minutes).
Time slots are limited to 16 students each so we recommend signing up quickly! Students and family members are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes if they would like to. We look forward to a fun, festive performance!

Job recently won first prize in a talent show at his church, Lakeside Community chapel. Participants showed different talents like singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments. Job played Fur Elise, Vivace and Amazing Grace on the piano.
Miss Sarah said, ”Job is a hard working student that shows self motivation and maturity in his musical pursuits. Every week he shows up to his lessons prepared and ready to learn! “
“I am grateful to have Miss Sarah as my piano teacher. She is very good, knowledgeable and nice. I have been going to Creative Keys since 2016. It’s a great place to learn music.” – Job
We are all very proud!
Great work, Job!
“From the very first lesson Savannah has shown a genuine love of singing and music. She is a natural. Her lessons are always prepared with her book full of drawings and lyrics from her large library of songs; very impressive for such a young student. Her singing voice and skill set at this young age quite frankly is beautiful. She is such a joy to teach. Bravo!” – Francine Lancaster
“Music makes me feel happy inside. I love singing with Mrs. Francine. She gets me excited about singing. We do voice exercises and sing all different songs. When I go to Creative Keys I feel I fit in there. I look forward to going every week.” – Savannah
We are all very proud! Awesome job, Savannah!

David Fortuna has been a performer and teacher for over 20 years. He is currently teaching Elementary Music at Northwest Elementary School in Hudson, Florida. David has also taught private lessons on trumpet, trombone, French horn, and tuba throughout his teaching career.
David began playing the trumpet in fifth grade and immediately fell in love with practicing and performing. By the time he entered Countryside High School in Clearwater, Florida, his passion with helping others grow a love for music started to develop. He made the decision to go to college to study to become a music teacher.
David would attend Troy State University in Troy, Alabama and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music and History. Later, he completed his Masters Degree in Music Education. While in Troy, he served as the elected Band Captain/President for two years and was trumpet section leader in several performing groups such as Symphony Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensemble. David was honored to be asked to perform “Napoli Variations for Trumpet” while accompanied by the Troy State Summer Band. While working on his Masters, David was hired as an Adjunct Professor to teach trumpet to undergraduate students. David was also a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Band Fraternity.
While in college, David has performed in several church venues, rock bands, soul bands, jazz combos, and for many military ceremonies.
Since graduating college, David has focused on his teaching career. He has taught middle school band in LaGrange, GA, Panama City, FL, and Bradenton, FL. He has been teaching elementary music at his current location for the past 15 years, and still plays and performs when his schedule allows.
David is married to Laurel, and has a stepdaughter named Lindsey (who is attending the University of Florida), and also a son named Dominic, who is currently taking piano lessons from Creative Keys Music School.
