Ukulele Lessons
Ukulele is a great choice of instrument for younger children (ages 5+) who are interested in learning a stringed instrument. It’s also a super fun instrument for all ages. With two fewer strings than the guitar and a shorter fretboard, it can be easier to play. Its nylon strings are also easier on the fingers. Our ukulele instructors are skilled in teaching a variety of genres and personalize their lesson plans to suit your learning style and preferences.
What styles of Ukulele do you teach?
We teach all styles, including rock, pop, classical, and folk.
How qualified are your ukulele instructors?
Our ukulele instructors bring many years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons. All instructors have the minimum qualifications for families to receive scholarship reimbursement from PEP, UA/FES, and many others.
What will I learn from ukulele lessons at Creative Keys Music School?
Ukulele students will learn fingerpicking, strumming patterns, reading and playing chords, harmony, chord progressions, music theory, rhythmic patterns, and more.
Do I need to purchase a ukulele to learn?
Yes, you will need to have your own ukulele in order to take lessons, however we do have a ukulele that students are welcome to use at their first lesson. The instructor can then make a recommendation on an instrument to purchase. www.sweetwater.com is a great resource for new instruments.
