Summer Art Contest
Attention, students who love to draw or paint! Submit your 8.5 x 11” art with a music theme to the front desk in June or July and you’ll be entered to win a $25 gift to Michael’s or Target! One winner per month (June, July) will be selected for each age category. We can’t wait to see how creative our students can be!
Summer Music Challenge
This June and July, we invite students to participate in our Summer Music Challenge! Students will earn stamps for completing a variety of challenges over the Summer and can redeem their stamps for prizes at the front desk. This is a great way to have fun with music during the Summer months.
Summer Music Workshops
Need to miss a lesson over the Summer and it’s tough to find a make up slot with your teacher, or maybe you’d like to enjoy music games with friends? These classes are free and take the place of a makeup lesson. Our Summer Music Workshops, which will be held in June on the 11th and 26th, give students the opportunity to practice rhythm and note reading while playing fun games with other students. There is a maximum of 8 students per 50-minute class and signup is online. Please let your teacher know that you’ll be attending a workshop. We’re excited for students to get together and have a great time!
Summer Camps
We have just 3 spaces left in Camp Creative for the week of June 20th (ages 6-8) with a waitlist for the weeks of June 6th and 13th. Our lead instructor, Kate Rafalski, can’t wait to see all of the students! Each camp day we will have a workshop on an instrument, including piano, guitar, and violin, and we’ll play music games to reinforce concepts. It’s always so much fun!
We also have some remaining availability in Creative Music Writing (ages 10-13, June 7th and 9th) as well as Pop Performance (for singers ages 12+, June 21st and 23rd)
